XCMG Unveils New Generation of Electric Forklifts at LogiMAT 2025
XCMG Group – a leading Chinese brand of construction machinery and industrial equipment – has officially launched its latest generation of electric forklifts at LogiMAT 2025, the world’s largest logistics and warehouse automation event held in Stuttgart, Germany. This is seen as a strategic move by XCMG in its global competition with European and Japanese brands such as Toyota, Komatsu, Linde, and Still.
Lithium Batteries – The Heart of the New Product Line
The most outstanding feature of XCMG’s new generation of forklifts is the integrated lithium-ion battery system with capacities ranging from 80V/400Ah to 80V/600Ah, allowing for continuous operation of up to 8–10 hours without recharging. This is particularly suitable for factories and warehouses operating in three shifts.
Beyond just capacity, XCMG’s fast charging technology allows for a full battery charge in approximately 2 hours, compared to 8 hours for traditional lead-acid batteries. The intelligent Battery Management System (BMS) automatically balances temperature, controls charging current, and monitors battery life in real time, ensuring stable battery operation in all environmental conditions from -20°C to 50°C.
According to Mr. Zhang Wei, Technical Director of XCMG’s forklift division, the lithium battery life in the new product line reaches over 3,000 charging cycles – equivalent to 8–10 years of use – significantly reducing overall operating costs compared to traditional battery solutions.

Superior Performance – Load Capacity from 1.5 Tons to 10 Tons
XCMG’s new electric forklift line includes models from FB15 to FB100, with load capacities from 1.5 tons to 10 tons, meeting diverse needs from commercial warehouses to heavy industrial ports. The entire product line is designed with a modular architecture, allowing for customizable configurations to meet the specific requirements of each business.
The next-generation three-phase AC drive system provides smooth acceleration, minimizes energy loss, and improves control in tight spaces. Regenerative braking can recover up to 20–25% of energy during unloading and braking, significantly contributing to overall energy efficiency.
IoT and Remote Monitoring System
An indispensable feature in the 2025 generation of XCMG forklifts is the integrated IoT connectivity system. Through the XCMG-IoT platform, managers can remotely monitor the entire fleet in real time: GPS location, battery status, load history, scheduled maintenance alerts, and detailed productivity reports by shift.
The accompanying mobile application supports both Android and iOS platforms, integrating AI-powered fault identification – automatically analyzing fault codes and suggesting solutions, reducing technician wait times and increasing actual equipment uptime.
The system also supports reporting CO₂ emissions savings compared to internal combustion engine forklifts, and helps businesses track and report ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) metrics – an increasingly common requirement from international investors and partners.

International Certifications and Standards
XCMG’s entire new line of electric forklifts has achieved CE (European) and EPA (American) certifications, and complies with ISO 3691 and EN 16307 standards for industrial forklift safety. In particular, models exported to Southeast Asian markets – including Vietnam – have been adapted to suit the hot and humid tropical climate, featuring enhanced cooling systems and high-grade anti-corrosion coatings.
With these significant advancements in green technology, XCMG is asserting its position in the global electric forklift market, especially in the context of countries tightening emission regulations in industrial operations. This is a positive sign not only for XCMG but also for the entire logistics industry undergoing a green transformation.
